Description
A five-page set on homophones, the confusing words that sound alike but mean different things. The child picks the right one in each sentence from pairs such as wear and wore, see and sea, pair and pare, keep and kept, heel and heal, bear and bare, and be and bee.
Alongside the sound-alikes it also covers words children mix up for other reasons, such as many and much, and then and than, so the sheet doubles as usage practice.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
