Description
A nine-page practice set on food and why the body needs it. It covers food as a source of energy, fruits and vegetables for good health, drinking plenty of water, protein for growth, calcium for strong teeth and bones, why junk food is a poor choice, washing hands before eating, milk products such as cheese and curd, and cereals like rice, wheat and corn.
The sheet starts with fill in the blanks and then moves into thinking questions that ask the child to reason rather than recall, such as what might happen to a child who refuses vegetables, or what is missing from a meal on the table.
Every page carries its own answer key, so a parent can correct the whole sheet in a few minutes.
