Description
A three-page set on conjunctions, the words that join other words, phrases or sentences. It names eight of them at the top, and, but, or, because, so, when, if and although, then asks the child to circle the joining word in each sentence.
The second half is fill in the blanks from that same word box, with sentences that only work with the right choice, such as being late because of a missed bus, and going for a picnic if the weather is fine.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
