Description
The second half of the water chapter, covering evaporation when water turns to vapour on heating, condensation when that vapour cools into droplets, transpiration through the tiny pores in leaves, and the water cycle that carries water from Earth to sky and back. It then moves to snow, glaciers, saline water that cannot be drunk, hygienic water that is safe, wells dug for groundwater, canals that carry water to fields, and dams built to store it.
The whole sheet runs on fill in the blanks from a word bank, so the child places each term where it belongs rather than defining it from memory.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
