Description
A six-page set on the story of the little giraffe who looks up at the tiny dots in the dark sky every night, asks his mother what they are, and learns they are stars. He wants to bring one down, thinks of climbing on his mother back, is told by a tall tree that fifty tall trees would not be enough, and is finally asked by an old owl why he likes that star so much.
The child answers true or false on each turn of the story, then fills in the blanks in the actual lines of dialogue, which keeps them close to the words on the page.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
