Description
An eight-page set on the gender of nouns. The child underlines the noun in each sentence and marks it masculine or feminine, working through pairs such as boy and sister, king and queen, actor and actress, uncle and aunt, lion and lioness, waiter and waitress, groom and bride, father and mother, and hero and heroine.
The later section drops the sentences and asks for the feminine form of a given masculine noun directly, which is how this topic is usually set in a test.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
