Description
A six-page set on compound words, new words made by joining two smaller ones. It explains the idea with sun plus flower making sunflower, then uses pictures for butterfly, toothbrush, rainbow, playground and football.
The work runs both ways: the child names the compound word from a picture, and then splits a compound word back into the two smaller words inside it. A matching column closes the sheet, joining halves like water and fall, note and book, class and room, and bed and coat.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
