Description
A five-page word-play set on anagrams, words made by rearranging the letters of another word using each letter only once. It explains the idea with cat and act, note and tone, then gives thirty words to rearrange, including pots, listen, save, stop, meat, brain, angel, earth, learn, grape and smile.
The second section is harder and more fun: a clue is given along with scrambled letters, such as a small insect that makes honey, the opposite of big, what we drink water from, and the season after winter.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
