Description
A three-page practice set built around pictures. The first page mixes six short exercises: adding and taking away objects drawn in rows, counting a group and writing the number, filling missing numbers in a counting strip, naming basic shapes and two small word problems.
The next two pages are word problems only. Each one is a two-line story about balloons, fish, pencils, apples, crayons, butterflies or stars, with the same objects drawn below so the child can count them out before writing the answer in the box.
All the numbers stay within twenty, so this suits a child who is still counting on fingers or pictures rather than working from memory. This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed.
