Description
A three-page set on the poem The Moon. The child writes the meaning of words taken from the poem such as shines, high, sky, bright and silver, then gives a synonym for bright, high, night, big and shine, and an antonym for high, dark, day and bright.
A true or false round follows on what the poem actually says: that the moon shines at night, sits high in the sky, looks like a bright lamp, and comes out with the stars.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
