Description

A five-page set on the four pointing words. The rule is stated at the top: this for one thing that is near, that for one thing that is far, these for more than one thing near, and those for more than one thing far away.

The child then works through picture rounds filling in the right word for an apple, a chair, a book, trees, pencils, a school, balloons, cars, an orange, a bag, a dog, crayons, flowers and kites, so the near and far difference is decided from the picture each time rather than guessed.

This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
