Class 1 English Grammar Worksheet: Paragraph Writing

Description

A three-page set that teaches a Class 1 child to write a paragraph without leaving them staring at a blank page. Each exercise gives a help box of words and a skeleton of sentences with gaps, and the child fills them in and then copies out the whole paragraph.

The two topics are My Family, using words like father, mother, brother, sister, love and happy, and The Cow, using milk, black, eats and useful. This is a writing sheet rather than a testing one, so it suits a child just starting to build sentences.

This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
