Description
A six-page practice set on the prose chapter The Gentle Monster-Killer. It opens with word meanings for agency, cooperate, zany, pesky and blunder, then a set of opposites, before moving into questions on the story itself: the owners of the Busy Bee Agency, Jack and the profession he claims for himself, the monster Corman who was eating the farmers crops and cattle, and the Know-It-All cap.
The sheet works through vocabulary first and comprehension second, which is the order most classroom tests follow.
Every page carries its own answer key, so a parent can correct the whole sheet in a few minutes.
