A thirteen-page set on the number system for one and two digit numbers. The first half is skip counting, filling in the missing numbers while counting by twos, threes, fours, fives and tens, including sequences that do not start at the obvious place, such as counting by fives from fifteen or by tens from twenty-one.
The second half moves to place value, asking the child to write the value of the underlined digit in two-digit numbers, which is the idea that carries into every later chapter.
