Description
An eighteen-page set on animals and the names of their young. It opens with a reference chart pairing each animal to its baby, covering the dog and puppy, cat and kitten, horse and foal, cow and calf, sheep and lamb, pig and piglet, hen and chick, duck and duckling, rabbit and bunny, deer and fawn, elephant and calf, lion and cub, owl and owlet, peacock and peachick, and swan and cygnet.
The practice that follows is mostly fill in the blanks using a given word box, along with matching work, so a child learns the pairs by using them rather than only reading the chart.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
