Description
An eleven-page practice set on the natural vegetation and wildlife of India, covering how vegetation belts change with rainfall and altitude, the five major vegetation types, tropical rainforests and the rosewood, mahogany and ebony found in them, tropical deciduous or monsoon forests and the season in which they shed leaves, thorn forests and their long roots, mangroves and the Sundari trees of the Sundarbans, coniferous forests at high altitude, and the Chipko Movement.
The sheet is set for twenty marks and runs mainly on fill in the blanks and written answers, the way a school geography paper is framed.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
