A seven-page set on adding four-digit numbers, split cleanly into sums without regrouping and sums with carry-over, so a child who is shaky on carrying can be given the first half alone.

A missing-digit section follows, where part of the sum is blanked out and the child works backwards to fill it, then story sums using real situations such as a bookshop selling story books in the morning and afternoon, and a school collecting old notebooks for recycling.
