Description
A four-page set on the poem Parrots. The questions follow the poem closely: when the parrots come, what they fly across before looking for food, what they swoop down to eat, what the speaker loves to throw for them, and why the birds are not afraid of her.
It goes further than most Class 2 poem sheets by asking for the rhyme scheme of the poem and about the poet, so the child looks at how the poem is built as well as what it says.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
