Description
A six-page Class 7 SST set on how the land becomes sacred. Page one has sixteen multiple choice questions on the meaning of sacredness, places of worship, religions that began outside India, the seven holy cities, Bodh Gaya and Sarnath, a Takht in Sikhism, sacred places for Jains, the Char Dham, Sabarimala, the Pandharpur Wari, the Kumbh Mela and sacred groves, with the correct options ticked.
The last page has three competency based situations with answers: Riya’s visit to the Velankanni Church, Arjun reading about the Sabarimala pilgrimage, and Meera learning about the Sapta Puri, each followed by three or four questions on faith, location, values and heritage.
Every page carries its own answer key, so a parent or tutor can correct the sheet in a few minutes.
