Description
A six-page set that goes a step beyond naming clothes and into what they are made of. It covers how clothes keep us safe from heat, cold, rain and insect bites, then splits fibres into natural ones taken from plants and animals, namely cotton, jute, silk and wool, and synthetic ones that are man-made from chemicals.
Questions ask which fibre makes jute ropes, what cotton is best for in summer, and what we wear when it is cold, so the fibre and the season are connected rather than learnt separately.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
