Description
A four-page objective set on air, covering why we cannot see it, that moving air is called wind, that air takes up space, and that we need it to breathe. It links air to things a child can watch: the wind pushing a sailboat, birds and aeroplanes flying, and kites, balloons and tyres being filled with it.
The later questions move to plants taking in carbon dioxide, and to air pollution, asking which habits make it worse and which help, such as planting trees, walking and cycling.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
