Description
A short three-page set built entirely from the words of the story A Walk with Grandpa. The child writes the plural of words taken from the story such as grandpa, bird, cloud, kitten, flower and park, then picks the correct meaning for grass, smiles, red, kitten, ice-cream and the sound Cheep that a bird makes.
It closes with a rhyming round on walk, sky, green, bird, grass and cat, so the sheet works on vocabulary, number and sound together rather than testing the story alone.
This version carries the questions only, with no answer key printed, so it can be handed out as a test or timed practice.
